The long and short of it is that it was gorgeous over there. One of the draws for that area is that they are in what's called a "rain shadow" from the Olympic Mountains... so they don't get as much rain as the rest of the Pacific Northwest. We took a really early ferry ride over, drove all around Sequim and Port Angeles, talked to a realtor about the housing market and then got rear ended. Yep, in Zack's mom's car. Not fun. But, no one was hurt and there was really minimal damage... like a tiny paint scratch and a broken light cover. So we were back on our way. After lunch Zack met a couple agents and heard a bit about what work is like at that station, so it was nice to hear that firsthand. We also went to check out Hurricane Ridge... it was amazing! Overall we really liked what we saw so we think it will be on our list of places we'd like to transfer to.

We caught dinner at the 3 crabs... too bad their crab was way overpriced...

My poor legs after being eaten alive by mosquitos... apparently they missed me while I was away
Hahaha... a store in Port Angeles devoted to Twilight. The realtors were joking about how inaccurate the book was in the scenes about their town.
Driving up to Hurricane Ridge... there were a few really cool tunnels.
Saw a number of deer at the top... they were very tame and came super close... hopefully not because people feed them!
The view at the top of Hurricane Ridge... sooooo amazing!

We ended up with Clam Chowder instead...
The ferry was late so we hoofed it through Port Townsend to the ice cream parlor... there are some beautiful old buildings in that town.
And what would a trip to Washington be without a ferry ride???

I absolutely LOVE Port Townsend!!! PA is cool too so I would be happy if you moved there! Anywhere in the same state would be great! ;p
Ow, your poor legs! All your pictures are making me homesick. :)
