I've been drooling over the Panasonic GF1 since before it came out last september. I can't believe I actually have it! Now to learn how to use it... I see lots of picture taking in my near future.
Wow, I love Kale's eyes. Congratulations on your new camera!
The book picture frame wasn't too hard to do. Really, Julie, if I can do it, I'm sure you can. :)
1) Get a cheap hard-cover book from some thrift store. (Mine was a math book. It was only $1.00.) 2) Use an X-Acto knife to cut the cover. My cover was kind of thick, so this took a little while. 3) If you want the "matted" look, there are a couple of options. a) Cut the first page in the book to use as a border for your picture and glue it to the front cover. b) Cut a "frame" out of any kind of blank paper and burn the inside edges to get the old look. Glue or tape this paper inside the front cover. (This is what I did. It took me a couple of tries to get it just right.) 4) Glue or tape your picture behind the page.
I hope that made sense. Let me know if you have any questions.
oh my heck I went to your website and just cried it is gorgeous. Kale is soooo happy with both of you and he is so perfect, I will keep my ears open, you are both such good people and I just can't believe what a cute family you are, you just fit together, isn't it such a gift from God. have fun with the camera you wont take a bad picture if you take them of that little guy :) Good to see you when you were here.
